SEO and GEO Case Study: Growing a Medical Website to 10,000+ Daily Organic Users

In April 2025, we began working with an Indian platform offering online consultations with Ayurvedic practitioners. SEO work covered the website structure, service pages and content plan. GEO/AEO was added to improve how the pages were interpreted and used by AI search systems.

The results were already substantial by early 2026. On many days, organic search brought the platform more than 10,000 users, while Bing and AI services also began generating traffic.

The Challenge

Websites offering medical consultations need to demonstrate who provides the advice and why their recommendations can be trusted. Search visibility depends not only on covering relevant queries, but also on accurate content, clear practitioner information and a technically accessible website.

For this project, broader search coverage could not come at the expense of trust. We therefore worked with technical accessibility, page structure, practitioner profiles and E-E-A-T signals alongside the semantic core and new content.

Our SEO and GEO Strategy

We started by collecting and clustering a comprehensive semantic core covering medical conditions, Ayurvedic treatments, consultation services and questions commonly asked by potential patients.

Based on this research, we:

  • prepared up to 100 detailed content briefs per month;
  • provided monthly recommendations for metatags;
  • conducted a technical SEO and GEO audit;
  • developed recommendations for service pages and practitioner profiles;
  • improved internal linking between related pages;
  • built relevant backlinks to strengthen the website’s authority.

The client’s team wrote and published the content using our briefs. This kept the medical information under the control of subject specialists while ensuring that each page addressed relevant search demand.

The GEO recommendations included:

  • reducing reliance on dynamically loaded content;
  • improving the hierarchy of H2 and H3 headings;
  • adding concise answers to key questions;
  • using lists and FAQ sections where they improved readability;
  • strengthening semantic markup and structured data;
  • adding research references and content update dates;
  • making practitioner qualifications and experience more visible.

These changes helped search engines and AI systems interpret the website’s content, services and professional expertise more accurately.

How Organic Traffic Changed

On 24 July 2025, the website recorded 851 users from Google Organic Search. This was the first clear step upwards in the available traffic data.

The figures kept rising over the following months. By early 2026, Google Organic Search was bringing roughly 10,000–11,000 users on many individual days.

This was not a single short-lived spike. Although daily figures varied, traffic settled far above the level recorded in July.

Daily users attributed to Google Organic Search increased from 851 on 24 July 2025 to approximately 10,000–11,000 by early 2026

Google Search Console recorded:

  • 174,000 clicks over the three-month period shown;
  • 14.3 million impressions;
  • up to 4,926 clicks in one day;
  • up to 331,135 daily impressions.

The website became visible for a much broader range of searches related to Ayurvedic health topics, treatments and online consultations. The growth was spread across multiple pages rather than being driven by one isolated traffic spike.

Over the three months covered by the screenshot, Google Search Console recorded 174,000 clicks and 14.3 million impressions

Bing also became a meaningful traffic source.

Bing search visibility increased to 8,300 clicks and 208,300 impressions

During the period shown in the data, the website generated:

  • 8,300 clicks;
  • 208,300 impressions;
  • up to 243 clicks and 7,400 impressions per day by the end of the period.

Visibility was close to zero in July. By the end of the period, Bing was bringing a regular stream of search traffic.

Results

The project produced measurable growth across conventional and AI-assisted search:

  • organic traffic reached approximately 10,000–11,000 daily users on many days;
  • Google generated 174,000 clicks and 14.3 million impressions over three months;
  • Bing became an additional source of regular search traffic;
  • traffic remained well above the initial level after the first increase.

The case shows how SEO and GEO can work together for an online medical consultation platform. Search demand brought the right topics into the content plan, while technical improvements, practitioner profiles and trust signals made the website easier for search engines and AI systems to interpret.

Looking to Grow Your Visibility in Search and AI Answers?

SEO and GEO work best when they share the same content and technical foundation. We help businesses identify what limits their visibility in conventional search and what prevents AI systems from using their pages as sources.

The recommendations are specific to the website and may cover page structure, technical access, content formats, authority signals and search coverage.
